Organizational Development
Beginning with an evaluation either of a specific sticking point (i.e. Hiring practices), or a holistic organization-wide evaluation to help identify opportunities to strengthen equity, I will provide feedback on existing structures and work collaboratively with you to create tangible, actionable solutions to strengthen anti-racism in your organization. These solutions can include redesigning management structures, establishing consensus-based decision making, implementing strength-based and restorative accountability systems, and adopting call-in culture.
Training and Workshops
Now This provides training for staff and boards in equity literacy, intersectionality, Anti-racism and being an accomplice, community-centric fundraising, LGBTQIA2S+ equity and inclusion, and Indigenizing internal systems. I also lead workshops in equity lens development, Land Acknowledgements, Equity Statements, Theory of Change, and board and or staff retreats.
HR policies and practices
Now This knows that inequities are systemic rather than interpersonal, and solutions should be rooted in dismantling those unjust systems. Now This supports organizations and HR professionals in developing equitable operations in hiring and firing practices, compensation reform, benefit packages, reasonable accommodations, and can serve as a 1:1 accountability buddy for HR leaders.
Fundraising
Now This infuses community-centric principles in all fundraising approaches and works to dismantle extractive and exploitative fundraising practices. I collaborate with development professionals to build a liberative development plan rooted in wealth redistribution, and advise on best practices. If you’re looking for more hands-on support, I can provide contracted community-centered campaign management, event planning and management, and copy-writing, all through a decolonizing lens.
Prices are based on the size of your organization and will include a percentage to directly support the communities upon whose expertise I have built my approach and strategy.
